Celebrating the balance of water

The celebration of Fall was held in the Fairy Glen at the Sacramento Headwaters in Mt. Shasta City Park.  I didn't even know it was here!  Five women from the East Coast Circle of the Dawn joined us as Peace Pipe Carriers and shared their sacred pipes with us.   Seven sisters from Japan came to sit in circle with us and shared a Dance to Honor the Water as well as a couple of beautiful songs.
The Circle was led by High Priestess of the Mt. Shasta Goddess Temple, Yeshe Matthews.  Indigo and Lotus from Sisters of the Sacred Mountain cast the circle.  Graell Corsini from the Ashland Goddess Temple called in the ancestors.  Yeshe did a beautiful rendition of the Call of the Star Goddess.

After learning about the significance of the Sacred Pipes from Michelle of the Circle of Dawn, we each were able to experience sending our prayers to the heavens through the smoke.

Yeshe also led a water ceremony and we each enjoyed sharing water from the Crystalline Matrix.  We also offered our prayers to the water.

The Circle was closed with a song (Merry Meet and Merry Part) and a promise to reconvene for Winter Solstice.

WHAT A BLESSING!
